Word Wall Chant

Nearly every day we do word wall chant. Five people go up to the board and get one card each. Then we do what it say''s. For example - Volcano. First we all crouch down to the ground and every letter we say we get higher. When we finish the word we BURST up in the air. Another one is Ketchup. First we punch our hand with our other hand all curled up for every letter, when we have spelt the word we do a big RASBERRY. Our longest without taking a breath is 2 min. As you can guess we have a lot more like.....

Mexican Hat Dance,Fly like a bird,Disco,Crocodile snap
And a lot more.

And Our Favourite is Ketchup!!!!!!

OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Nim's Island

We are Reading Nim's Island.It is a great book so far.I have read ahead of the class because I have the book at home.And the best thing is I am nearly done the book. And I am up to page 101!!!I am 6 pages away from finishing the book!!!I really love the book it is so cool!!!

ANZAC Day

On the 25 of April lots of soldiers went into war to free Australia. A man called Simpson and his donkey Duffy went with them and saved many life's but Simpson got killed. They ate ANZAC biscuits.
